Curtis Bailey, singer song-writer , is also a multi-instrumentalist. He plays drums , guitar , bass, and especially mandolin
He learned the guitar at the age of twelve after his dad showed him a few chords . He played rock and roll in the late sixties and early seventies.
His attention turned to bluegrass in the early eighties and he  got his start with " Robin Tackett and a Taste of Grass" . He has played in various bands thru the years.
He is also a substitue mandolin player in "Poverty String Band" when they call on him.
Curtis makes his home in Southern Ohio , with his wife Kathy in  the beautiful place of his roots
He has finished a stint of playing in "The Shelpman Bros. Band" as an electric guitar and mandolin man as well as harmony and lead singer.

In 2007 his attention has turned to country music and guitar and mandolin.
