

Curtis Bailey, singer song-writer , is also a multi-instrumentalist. He plays drums
, guitar , bass, and especially mandolin |
He learned the guitar at the age of twelve after his dad showed him a few chords
. He played rock and roll in the late sixties and early seventies. |
His attention turned to bluegrass in the early eighties and he got his start
with " Robin Tackett and a Taste of Grass" . He has played in various bands thru
the years. |
He is also a substitue mandolin player in "Poverty String Band" when they call on
him. |
Curtis makes his home in Southern Ohio , with his wife Kathy in the beautiful
place of his roots |


He has finished a stint of playing in "The Shelpman Bros. Band" as an electric guitar
and mandolin man as well as harmony and lead singer. |

In 2007 his attention has turned to country music and guitar and mandolin. |
